Cherries - discover, experience, enjoy
The cherry nature trail leads you through the largest collection of sweet cherries in Germany. The altogether approx. 365 trees form a colorful smorgasbord of different old varieties, all more or less threatened with extinction. The partly last trees of their variety serve as a source for so-called Reiser - shoots for the refinement of new trees of this variety. Hagen's job is to nurture and maintain these “mother trees”.

In the cherry blossom season simply a dream about all blooming cherries. Just lovely

Simply gorgeous during cherry blossom season. But also interesting when ripe. You can then try the cherries.
