In 1895, Simon Georg Freiherr von Sina had this 14-meter-high stone observation tower built, on which you can still read: “To the pleasure of the public, Freiherr von Sina” and gave it to the city of Baden with the obligation to keep it open to the public. 😊👍👍👍

April 2nd, 2020 - Offside here, there is also a beautiful view at the Eiserner Türl, behind which that miraculous image has been hiding on a tree in the summit area since 1624, which has been the destination of pilgrimages for centuries. The tree and the image of grace disappeared; today they are remembered by a cross with the image of Christ at the vantage point 100 m north of the refuge.
