Very good conditions for less trained.
On holidays, it can be very crowded around the summit and the last piece is like a pedestrian area.

As a racing cyclist from the lowlands you have to start up here. It is worth it ..

I was up on Saturdays in good weather. My tip: avoid the weekend. Especially the descent is then because of the many hikers a constant braking and dodging.
What is the day of the week?

Bombs weather on the Brocken, down there is still hazy and the distance is not so good. on the top of the crag there are boards with direction and distance to the targets.

Everybody should go up to the chunks, the view will reward you for it. You only have to drive soon enough.

The Brocken (popularly known as Blocksberg) is 1141.2 m above sea level. NHN the highest mountain in the Harz low mountain range, in Saxony-Anhalt and in all of northern Germany. It is located in the Schierke district of the city of Wernigerode in the Harz district of Saxony-Anhalt. The mountain and its surroundings in the Harz National Park are one of the most popular excursion destinations in Germany. From the Brockengipfel you can see, among other things, the Großer Inselsberg in Thuringia, the Köterberg in the Weserbergland and the Petersberg north of Halle an der Saale. The Rothaar Mountains (164 km away) and the Rhön Mountains (152 km) can be seen in very good visibility, and the Fichtelberg, about 224 km away, and the neighboring Keilberg in the Czech Republic can be seen in excellent conditions. The narrow-gauge Brockenbahn has been going to the summit since 1899, interrupted by the division of Germany. The transmitters on the Brocken, which have existed since the 1930s, have a high technical range due to their exposed location in the Hochharz.Source: wikipedia

For the spam players among us: I am interested in a bit of a shit when planning a tour, how far are any cities from the Brocken.

The Brocken summit should be on the program for every cyclist. After a fairly moderate climb from Schiercke, which only gets a little steeper towards the end, the summit plateau awaits with a great view. When the weather is good, the last two kilometers are regularly a bit fuller, as many hikers have to share the ramp with the cyclists. Carefulness and prudence are required, especially when you are leaving.

Mega nice driveway, with great views and a few steeper ramps. You only have to take care of hikers who share the path with you
