Unmistakable due to the two military cabins and a flag mast/antenna that are situated on Rough Tor and when heading from the direction of Higher or Lower White Tor requires a good climb from the West Dart River.

This Tor sits right along the border of the Merrivale zone used by The British Army, so be aware of them when they are training in the area.

Hello Other Dartmoor Hikers. This Tor is up behind Crow Tor And if you are going to wistmans wood you could do Beardown Tors, Crow Tor and Rough Tor. Nearby is Devils Tor and the Beardown man which i recommend.
