The 1,150 meter long wooden walkway slowly winds through all levels of the forest and brings you to a height of 42 meters. From above you have a fabulous panoramic view of the Steigerwald. The way up is barrier-free.

The trail is open from March 30th to October 31st between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. From November 1st to March 29th you can go up from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Adults pay 10 euros, children 6.50 euros. You can also find all information here: baumwipfelpfadsteigerwald.de.

Mountain biking

Would you like to take a walk through the treetops with squirrels and birds? You can do that in the Steigerwald treetop path. The boardwalk is 1,150 meters and winds through all levels of the forest. The highlight is the 42 meter high observation tower. The path is also wheelchair accessible and is therefore open to all visitors. In addition, you will find out everything about the forest and its sustainable use through forestry and hunting through exciting information boards.

Hiking

The newly built treetop path Steigerwald with a total length of about 1150m was opened on 19.03.2016. Admission is possible all year round. The opening hours vary according to the seasons, the entrance fees are not, family ticket 19 euros, single adults 9 euros.
