Too bad that this beautiful old cemetery disappears a bit in the residential areas and the playground. But now it is closed and is described as a park. It has existed since the 13th century and was regularly overcrowded during several plague epidemics. As part of the renovation of Hanover City 2020, human bones were discovered during construction work on the associated Nikolaikapelle and initially exposed completely improperly.
