The "meeting point of the winds" is the northernmost point of Mallorca. The road over the peninsula Formentor is worth a tour not only because of the spectacular view from the lighthouse!

If not (yet) Sa Calobra, then definitely Cap Formentor.

If you want to get to the cap must first overcome a few climbs on stunning coastal roads. The view is spectacular, and the goats are very photogenic. Probably the best place on the island to see a sunrise - do not forget lights (:

On the way there is also a tunnel that can be very disorienting, even if you can see the light in the end (ha! Pun! Ha!).

Cape Formentor must be. Only the tunnel, which is unlit, has vision problems when driving back.

Great track. Best start early in the morning (less traffic - cars and cyclists) and take lights.

A beautiful road bike tour, just before the tour weather forecast. On one of my first rides, I was almost blown off the bike in some places.

Road top, tunnel without light crappy and borderline-god thank you short, car from midday the madness, Radlgruppen without end, risk of accidents therefore always very high. if you omit the negative on the whole it is of course a highlight, but ........ !!!! conditionally recommended ..

The Mallorcans call the Cap Formentor "meeting point of the winds" and you can also notice that sometimes on the bike.

Nice goal to race bike. But at the weekend it gets really crowded and sometimes tight with the cars.

Definitely to cup shaping, on foot, by car or even best with `the road bike.
You get the feeling of freedom for racers on this track.
In addition, a great ambience waf`n way to the Cup and here you can then sit down in the restaurant, strengths and fill the water bottles.

At the northern tip of Mallorca lies the Cap de Formentor, where the northern end of the mountain region Serra de Tramuntana meets the Mediterranean Sea. On the way to the lighthouse several viewpoints offer a great view. The Mallorcans also have a name for the cap "Meeting Point of the Winds"

Very nice tour to enjoy weather forecast (wind prone) and lighting for tunnels.

The section I found most beautiful on the whole route to the Cap Formentor.

Also go out in the rain. It is rewarded with empty streets and fantastic pictures, which achieve a great effect ("rapha style"), especially in black and white. Caution in the tunnel! Due to the lack of lighting, on the way back from the cap, you drive in blind at high speed.

a fantastic route with a magnificent view. Beautiful coastal passage which is a "must" for every racing cyclist in Mallorca. The coastal road is allegedly closed to traffic since this year. That is not sure.

Very well visited place. From here it's only by boat to the north.

The way is the goal here, at the lighthouse athletes and motorists gather. You will find a toilet and there is food and something cool to drink. Thus, the return journey can be started in a new freshness.

Hello sports friends share all your tips and experience, apparently from 2018 no rental cars tourists more fully out to the cap, but must change at the parking lot on the curve to the hotel Formentor in buses then ordered 😅 run, a plus for us racing cyclists.
