Electricity has been generated in the old mill since 1900 using water power from the slightly dammed Ilz.
A rest area and an (unofficial?) Fireplace with a hiking map, beautiful views of the river and a small chapel a bit from here on the right bank of the river complete the ambience.
The place is ideal for a rest.
