Michelberg

One of the many highlights along the Jakobsweg Weinviertel is the Michelberg with its chapel. Having already left half of the way behind you, it is important to gain new strength in the chapel and let your eyes glide over the gently rolling expanses of the Weinviertel. The Michelberg was already a popular place of pilgrimage in past epochs, as evidenced by records from around the 9th century. Due to archaeological finds, the Michelberg now also attracts those interested in history and culture.

The chapel is atmospheric up here, you can enjoy the view here in peace - simply wonderful! Only the garbage cans are disturbing, which don't fit into the picture at all - maybe there is another solution for them.
