One of the many highlights along the Jakobsweg Weinviertel is the Michelberg with its chapel. Having already left half of the way behind you, it is important to gain new strength in the chapel and let your eyes glide over the gently rolling expanses of the Weinviertel. The Michelberg was already a popular place of pilgrimage in past epochs, as evidenced by records from around the 9th century.
