Currently there are two routes at Ochsenkopf. A "family run", which is relatively easy to master, and the mainline. You can classify it as a freeride track but also as a classic downhill track - also called "Fichtlriden".
The trail is very rocky and rocky in the upper section and therefore not easy for everyone to master. In the middle part, the track type changes to more flowing with some natural and built jumps. In this passage a lot of airtime is announced. The following fairytale forest is unfortunately relatively flat, but with some strength in the legs very fun and flowig to drive.
In the last section, the track becomes fast, winding and relatively demanding by some root orbits, but with flow and some fun jumps.

You should at least have seen it and decide for yourself how and what you do.
Personally, I find some tracks very great here, which gives me a really good mood.
But there are still so many beautiful tracks around the Ochsenkopf that you should not get stuck in the circus all the time. ;)

The first very detailed comment is only to add, which is in the lower part next to the fairy tale forest created a very nice Flowtrail, so you can handle the boring route fun and you land directly at the Bullheadhouse to a great burger to eat and a bit with the To chatter profiguides

The route starts to the right of the mountain station (the Ochsenkopf Süd Bahn). At the beginning a bit over the ski slope, then you have the choice between an easier and a more demanding variant. But others have already described this in more detail.
Maybe helpful the first time: For the easier variant, you have to drive a little longer on the piste after the first gravel road crossing. The more demanding route goes off to the right beforehand.
Overall, the (easy variant of the) route is a lot of fun for me, as it offers a lot of variety from easy jumps, berms, roots and can also be driven well with little suspension travel

The lower area is constantly being built, expanded and improved, and the people at Bullhead House are doing a really great job. However, most of the things are not for beginners, there are decent gaps here, so don't drive in "blindly".
It's a pity that the upper part, which as far as I know isn't built by the Bullhead House team but belongs to the lift, can't even begin to keep up here, so the bike park feeling only comes up in the final section. Further up the route is also ok, but offers few alternatives, you mostly ride down the mountain as it is, sometimes even on gravel, which is anything but ideal for a bike route.
