Best Road Cycling Rides to Oak-Lined Road Between Stanway and Stanton

Tips

  • 2 very picturesque cotswold villages, lovely stretch of tree-lined roads with sheep/cows grazing either side

    • April 28, 2020

  • This is a lovely stretch of road lined with ancient oaks.
There is a cricket Pavillion on staddle stones with wood clad walls that looks like something out of Grimm's fairy tales. Keyhole views through the walls of Stanton House gardens. Far better than the main road!

    • December 21, 2020

  • Beautiful, smooth winding road through the lush meadows and under the trees. Little traffic, nice road surface. Enjoy!
