The mill, with a history of around 1,160 years, is maintained by the Belmer Mühle association. There is also a center of culture and encounter in the mill today. This was made possible by the cooperation of various organizations, such as the Belmer Integrationswerkstadt association, the Belm home and hiking association and the Erzgebirge pyramid interest group.
