On the marked trail you walk at this point already increased. The adjacent Burggrafenberg with its 282 meters is the highest single elevation in Forst Burgholz. The view from up here is beautiful and leads far over the valley of the Wupper. An ideal place for a picnic break!

In the west, at the foot of the elevation, the Wupper runs from north to south. To the northwest, on the other side of the Wupper, is the extensive plant of the Buchenhofen sewage treatment plant. North of the Burggrafenberg runs the valley of the Glasbach, a tributary of the Wupper. The valley of the Burgholzbach, also an inflow of the Wupper, lies in the south of the Burggrafenberg. On Burgholzbach, which in turn owns numerous tributary streams, there are remains of protoindustrial water engines such as Nöllenhammer.
