One of the most impressive free-standing trees in the Spessart on the outskirts of Michelrieth is impressive. A designated natural monument since 1912, the linden tree measures more than five meters in circumference. Their age is estimated at around 300 years. Time easily takes on a different dimension under its spreading branches and green leaf canopy. What has this tree not seen pass by ... An invitation from nature to marvel and pause.
