St. Adelphus greets you from afar with its pointed-helmeted west tower. The Romanesque pillar basilica with a late Gothic choir is one of the oldest churches in the Westerwald. The interior of the three-aisled church appears massive and pressed. The high altar comes from the Hadamar Baroque School after 1700. In the former collegiate church there are various portrait gravestones and seven other gravestones of lower noble families. Little known: A grave plaque commemorates Johann Heinrich Keverich, Beethoven's grandfather, who was the head chef of the Elector and Archbishop of Trier, Johann Philipp von Walderdorff (1756 - 1768) from Molzberg in the Ehrenbreitstein Palace.
