A somewhat quieter bathing spot than the two spots next to the bridge, which are mostly frequented by visitors to the nearby campsites

Beautiful pebble beach with initially flat water, ideal for a bathing break while hiking. The stones in the shallow water are sometimes very slippery. From the rock in the middle of the river you can jump from about 3 m into the deeper water between the rock and the rock face. The water is deep enough, but be careful because of the many passing boats! We also observed people who jumped into the river from about 9-10 m from the eye-catching heel on the rock face. I would advise against this, however, since the sufficiently deep area between the rock face and the rock is quite small. In addition, the climbing tour to this point is quite demanding.

The water of the Chassezac is fantastic (and attracts many other swimmers and boaters).
