A post mill had stood here since the end of the 18th century, but it burned down in 1860. A new brick mill of the round stone mill type was then built. It was in operation as a grain mill until 1948. Then the decline set in. Finally, the mill was restored and again received a winged cross. However, cottages were built in the mill, so the mill cannot grind.
