Cycle Path Along Drongelens Canal

The cycle path along the Drongelens Kanaal is beautifully situated between the trees. It is, however, quite narrow and quite a few roots have made the cycle path bumpy. For racing cyclists the tip to hold their handlebars well! The part from Vught has recently (2020) leveled, so most of the major bumps have been removed there.
Under Drunen, on the road to Giersbergen, the cycle path goes from the north to the south side of the canal and then bends to the north to the Baardwijkse Overlaat and the railway bridge of the old Halve Zolen railway line (now mostly cycle path).
In the weekends when the weather is sunny, the cycle path is fairly busy with cyclists and runners. Very quiet in winter and autumn.
