The "Ehrenbürg" consists of the 532 m high Rodenstein and the 512 m high Walberla, which is crowned by a chapel built in the 17th century (first mentioned around 1360).

Leutenbach was most likely founded before the year 1000. The castle of the Lords of Ludunbach (also: Leutenbach, Ludenbach) is attested between 1079 and 1203, it was probably on the southeast located Burgstein, and is identical to the Burgstall Burgstein. Leutenbach in today's administrative district Upper Franconia came after the extinction of the sex to the Hochstift Bamberg. Since the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss of 1803, the place heard like large parts of Franconia to Bavaria (See also history of Franconia).
