Tips
New paved top connection between Straubmühle (Schimmelmühle) and Amstetten (Albaufstieg or Albabstieg). Incline / descent approx. 16-20 percent. Bicycle route to Geislingen is to be expanded to an asphalt cycle path. Currently, the connection to Geislingen is only possible with the MTB or trekking bike after crossing the Rohrach, but the landscape is very beautiful (unless you drive along the busy B10).

This piece is slightly off the road and newly paved. So it drives well. Pretty steep though. I was glad that I was allowed to go up with the e-bike.
