The Mandlstein is about 847 meters high and located on the state border with the Czech Republic. It has its name from the allegedly almond-shaped granite blocks that cover its summit. A short trail leads around its summit so you can choose from which side you climb the highest point. From the top there is a beautiful view of the nearby Czech Republic. Next to the summit cross, there is a small skywalk and the "Memorial of Expulsion" to visit. A visit is definitely worth it.
