The Árbudir refuge is located on a promontory overlooking Lake Hvitarvatn. It's a sheepfold. You indeed find a barn for the animals. The beautiful wooden house welcomes visitors who venture here. The caretaker will only welcome you during the summer months. You will find something to sleep and eat. It is possible to pitch your tent near buildings.
