Hveravellir is a geothermal site worth a visit. Developed trails take you to the various interesting places in this nature reserve. Hot springs are numerous and you can also observe tiny volcanic chimneys which emit a smell of sulfur into the air. It's impressive ! There is a restaurant in the buildings adjacent to the site as well as open-air baths, where you can relax. A perfect place to take a break or even spend the night.

Location with volcanic hot water sources, hissing mini-volcanoes (chimneys) and bombastic sulfur smells. There is also a restaurant - the only one far and wide.
