There is a fairly steep descent to get to this viewpoint, but it is totally worth it. The road was quiet and I had the view all to myself. Out of all my years of travel, this is one of the most magical, peaceful views I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing.
If you’re approaching in the late afternoon/evening there are plenty of wildcamping opportunities further up the road, back where you can from.
