Just rode this route this morning (going up). It is way better going down than up!

At the moment it hasn’t rained properly for weeks and I would say this track is too dry to cycle on as the sand is quite deep. I had to push for a little as the paths off the sand are right by barbed wire and I got caught in it!

Definitely better when the ground is not so dry.

The bridleway is narrow in places and terrain is sandy In the summer, its also used by walkers alot.
