    You have a few places to stay overnight inside the park. But just some miles before the entry there is a place called Yosemite Lodges which is just in front of the mountains. Pretty good rooms, service And price. If you are around do not miss Mariposa small town. Just precious.

    Those looking for a "fast way" from Glacier Point to Valley or back are well advised here. It goes in endless serpentines into the valley. However, the nicer way from the valley to the Point (and if necessary continue on the Sentinel Dome) leads over the waterfalls Vernal, Nevada and Illiouette further east in the valley.
