Hiking

If you like it steep, you can leave the wide forest path here and take the descent from Stadlerberg on a narrow path (also a mountain bike trail). This is a little more exciting than the wide forest path, but not easy to walk on.

There is not that much to see, but on the wide forest path that scolds the hiking trail, this was actually a highlight for me. The two earthwalls are clearly visible. One suspects a pre-Christian escape castle or hilltop settlement.

For those interested in history, this is an excellent example of a pre-Christian rampart, where both ditches and ramparts are clearly visible on the mountain spur.
