Aussichtspunkt am Windberg

Here you can have a picnic on one of the numerous benches and marvel at the view over Freital. From up here you can see how big the stainless steel plant is.

Great view over the valley of Weisseritz with the main part of the city Freital. The stainless steel plant still occupies a respectable area.

I can only recommend the view to every visitor of the region. In clear weather you can even see the Radebeul vineyards.

Great destination for young and old

You can see not only Freital, but also Dresden and the slopes of the Elbe. In the south-west you also have a good view of the Ore Mountains.

Fantastic view of almost all of Freital's districts

... Striking Freital local mountain (353m) with even more striking structures, the radio tower and the King Albert monument. The Windberg is located in a small forest area, where mainly the Freitalers cavort on small excursions. In addition to the two wind mountains, there is also the Kieferberg (236m) in the area.
