        Walking in Bospolder

Would you like to walk in nature in the north of Antwerp? Go for a walk in De Bospolder in Ekeren. There are walking routes through grasslands, roughs, forests and marshes, interspersed with shallow pools. You will find walking tours through the very first Flemish nature development project, which has ensured the recovery of rare plants and animals.

Freely accessible on the paths all year round.
Parking at the end of Vierkerkenstraat, 2030 Antwerp, on the edge of the Ekerse district of Schoonbroek, near the pedestrian bridge over the A12.
        Bicycle shed on site.
Boots are required in rainy weather and in winter.
Suitable for prams with large wheels.
        Dogs welcome, on a leash.
The paved road between the Bospolder and the Ekers Moeras is easily accessible for wheelchairs. The viewing hut on the north-west side is also accessible for wheelchairs (accessible from the car park on that side). The walk largely runs through the grazing block of the Galloway cattle. The cattle are gentle, but keep the necessary distance and never walk between a cow and her calf. They regard dogs as predators, so be sure to keep your dog on a leash so that it does not chase the cattle.
