The World Forest in Bad Grund offers a variety of plants from different regions of the world. Among other things one finds here whole forests with redwoods. A visit is especially worthwhile in spring for flowering and in autumn for foliage coloring. The children will enjoy the suspension bridge.

The world forest is a destination for the whole family. The Sapß is on the suspension bridge and Indian trail is guaranteed after a stop offers you in the adjacent Hübich Alm.

The idea of creating an exotic parkland dates back to 1971. The following year, storms caused considerable damage to the spruces in the forest. After the cleanup there was enough space and so since 1975 exotic trees have been planted here. With Indian - path and suspension bridge also very interesting for children.

Nice resting place for a little break at a door through the Aboretum World Forest Harz. Unfortunately there is no shelter here in bad weather.

From a climate change point of view, the world forest is a unique pattern for reshaping the German forest. Despite this variety of plants of all kinds, and the associated distraction from the actual goal of your visit here. Should not you forget to get the stamp HWN 129?
