Here you can see the remains of a former aircraft hangar from the Second World War. The pillars of the hall were redesigned by the artist Ralf Ehmann to "think pillars" and since then have been warning in six languages with the words: "Every person has his name" in memory of all forced laborers and prisoners of war who had to work on the airfield.

In order to protect the Hailfingen airfield and the night fighters stationed there against increasing Allied attacks, the Air District Command VII planned the construction of two taxiways or alternative roads, shatterproof aircraft boxes and smaller hangars in the first quarter of 1944.
A taxiway, called "Fliegerstraße" by the locals, led from the eastern end of the runway in the direction of Reusten to this repair hall, the remains of which can still be seen today.
