Location: Mössingen, Landkreis Tübingen, Tübingen District, Baden-Württemberg, Germany
South of Tübingen and Reutlingen is located on the course of Albtraufes Mössinger mountain slip. On April 12, 1983, huge amounts of rock, soil and forest fell here after it had rained for days. Because the mountain was covered by fog at this time, the inhabitants of the surrounding villages saw and heard little about it. But it quickly became clear what had happened here: the largest mountain slide in Baden-Württemberg in 100 years

Impressive clefts torn from the loose rock into the valley. Best to admire from above. Over narrow paths you conquer the way along the eaves to one of the pretty viewpoints. When the sun is shining, the calm in these places is even more so
