Since 1987, a part of the decommissioned waterworks on the banks of the Müggelsee has a unique museum. On the basis of numerous historical testimonies visitors can understand the history of water supply and urban drainage of Berlin.

If you have any questions regarding visiting possibilities, please contact Berliner Wasserbetriebe at 030 / 8644-6393 or fuehrungen@bwb.de.

For the Mammutmarsch was unfortunately no time and the opening hours would have foiled a visit probably well. What can you recommend for this?

Here you can visit beautiful old factory buildings from the Gründerzeit. The old waterworks was still in operation until the time of the GDR.

In addition to the beautiful neo-Gothic buildings and the imposing machines inside, the exhibition on the development of drinking water and sanitation in Berlin from the Middle Ages to the present day is worth seeing
