Hiking

Celtic graves were mainly dug in the Bronze Age (2000 BC - 800 BC) and often provided with grave goods. However, grave robbers often haunted the graves after a short period of time, so that today there are no more burials to be found in most of the barrows. When searching for grave goods, modern archeology also uses ground penetrating radar.
