Waldhaus Drei Buchen

Excellent food at acceptable prices. Definitely worth a stop after the hike. In winter, the first floor is also available when there is a lot of activity. In summer there is enough space outside.

The food is one of the tastiest I've ever had at a hiker's hut! Recommendable! The number callers from the kitchen add to the ambience very nicely - but that depends on the duty roster. The table immediately to the right of the entrance is near the loudspeaker. Those who are sensitive to noise should plan a safety distance here 😁

The corresponding knight's stone "Drei Buchen" is also nearby.

The food is good and the prices are good too. But very busy at the main rush hours as the road and parking are very close. Also many outdoor seating

One of our favorite places in the Palatinate: delicious food, nice hosts, nice playground and in good weather a lot of space for relaxing sitting in the countryside!

The Waldhaus Drei Buchen (also called Ramberger Waldhaus) is a refuge in the Palatinate Forest belonging to the Ramberg local group of the Palatinate Forest Association, but leased to a restaurateur for independent management. It is not far from the Drei Buchen pass, which represents the transition from the Ramberger Tal, in which the Dernbach flows, to the Modenbach valley. The hut is located at an altitude of 415 m above sea level. NN.

For me one of the best huts ever. Very nice hosts, delicious food. Grumbeersupp and Quetschekuche 😋 ..... again anytime.
