In 1982, the Swiss dialect rock band sang "I gloub, i gangä no meh a Louenesee" and thus set a musical monument to the picturesque Lauenensee - there is hardly a Swiss who can not sing the song.
The Lauenensee lies in the midst of a wide Moorwiesen nature reserve and invites with various bathing and fire places, a restaurant and a rowboat rental to a longer stay.
You can find more information about Lake Lauenen at gstaad.ch/sommer/wandern/bergseen.html.
(Berndeutsch: Louenesee Bernese Oberland: Louwenesee) is a natural lake in the municipality Lauenen im
Canton Bern, Switzerland. It consists of two parts separated by marshland. Since the 1970s, the two lakes and the moor area are under protection.
The Lauenensee is in the rock ballad of the Swiss dialect rock band Span
sung: I gloube i gange no more ... a Louenesee.
