Beelen Airfield

After a few years of patient waiting for a variety of reasons, the time had come at the end of May. The district government of Münster grants the active zone flight school permission for the Beelen airfield to carry out winch towing operations there. We carry out the first winch towing at the airport with the airport operator Ludger Dingwerth. Many thanks to him for his cooperation! Norbert Havelt also owns the property. We are happy about the proximity to Beelen and especially about silent paragliding flights from the wind. To date, we have already seen great flights at Beelen Airport. The Beelen airfield is relatively inconspicuous, but easily recognizable with the signs right on the edge and the traffic lights. It is for small planes and also has a small hangar hall with seating. I find it very impressive and we were lucky that the plane landed just as we were waiting at the red light.
