In December 1996, the object came into the possession of Mühlhäuser workshops for the disabled. After a renovation and expansion that was carried out with great dedication and the active help of employees and the public, the "Alte Bahnhof" was opened in September 1998. About 20 people with disabilities now run a guest house, restaurant and a children's farm under expert guidance.
