Best Road Cycling Rides to View of the Tuniberg Vineyards

Tips

  • Because of its area-wide use for wine-growing, the Tuniberg is criss-crossed by a dense network of well-asphalted farm roads, which are ideal for cycling away from the main roads. Without local knowledge you can follow the Tuniberg-Höhenweg, which runs through the entire elevation from north to south. Although the attribute "mountain" seems a bit exaggerated given the very clear differences in altitude, there are some very crisp ramps that can definitely push the racing bike transmission or the associated motor to the limit.

  • The Tuniberg is a limestone survey in Breisgau, which is 312.4 m above sea level. NHN rises only slightly above the Upper Rhine Plain, which lies here about 190 m above sea level
