Because of its widespread use for wine growing, the Tuniberg is criss-crossed by a dense network of well paved farm roads, where you can cycle well off the main roads. Without local knowledge you can follow the Tuniberg High Trail, which runs through the entire elevation from north to south. Although the attribute "mountain" seems a bit exaggerated at the very clear height differences, you will find some very crisp ramps that can bring the road bike gear ratio and the associated engine to the limit.

The Tuniberg is a limestone survey in Breisgau, which is 312.4 m above sea level. NHN rises only slightly above the Upper Rhine Plain, which lies here about 190 m above sea level

Magnificent views of both the Black Forest and the Vosges. In the fall, Indian Summer.
