A small chapel between two trees near the deserted village of the same name. There are several benches here and also a covered picnic bench. It marks the end of the hiking trail from Heilbad Heiligenstadt (“Yellow Cross”) over the Mittelberg and Geisleden.

In 1870, Christian and Genovefa Waldmann bought the Steinhagen farm. They renovated the building and in 1877 built the Steinhagen Chapel in the Dünwald in honor of the Fourteen Holy Helpers. Previously, there had been a cross there with images of the Trinity and the Fourteen Holy Helpers.
