The section between the turnoff to Resle and Unternogg is a very beautiful path, but because of the rough gravel in places I would recommend it to cyclists with tires wider than 30 millimeters. After heavy rain, please note that the stream you have to cross will be full of water.

Once you have overcome the incline (driving from west to east) at Schober, you come across a non-asphalted section here. However, if you drive to the Wieskirche (D9 cycle path), then this section does not pose a problem.

Instead of the original route via the Wieskirche, the Königsstraße can also be used as a shortcut on the Bodensee-Königsee cycle path.
However, this is not recommended due to the rough surface. The surface must be classified as unacceptable for normal cyclists (with luggage). The stream described above has now been widened by a mudslide, and the area must be pushed.
