Exotic forest
The so-called exotic forest and the “Diedorfer Garten”, two forest complexes of particular importance, are located near Diedorf. The forest, on an area of around eight hectares, is home to 70 exotic tree species that were created as early as 1880.
The tallest Douglas firs measure almost 60 meters and have an estimated wood supply of 35 solid meters.
There is no planned economic use in the exotic forest. The nature trail around the exotic forest leads along the different tree species and these are explained on boards.translated by•April 29, 2021
