A few hundred meters south-east of the village, in a strikingly remote location, is the cemetery with the old, very remarkable Mauritius chapel, the size of which corresponds to a medieval village church. In front of the simple nave, newly built in 1733, is the squat western tower with a pitched roof, which dates back to the late Middle Ages. The 15th-century Gothic choir contains wall frescoes dating from around 1500. They were uncovered during a restoration in 1940. The beautiful Mauritius chapel, which enlivens the village landscape, underwent a thorough renovation in 1956, to which the community, district and state preservation of monuments contributed the funds.
