This narrow burrow leads to the upper spring pot of the Neidlingen waterfall

When we were there, the water shot under the bridge into the valley, was something special, but we were there after the snow melted, it won't be so spectacular in summer

The "waterfall" is located near Neidlingen in the Esslingen district, Baden-Württemberg.

        - Since 2019 the waterfall has been a geopoint of the UNESCO Global Geopark Swabian Alb (geopark-alb.de/pdf/GP-Tafel-Neidlinger-Wasserfall-klein.pdf?m=1598453581&)

        - is fed by the two karst springs of the “Lindach”.
        - the flow of the waterfall (= amount of water in volume per time) is subject to strong fluctuations
        - After long dry periods, the karst water level drops and the springs dry up, meaning the waterfall is now just a trickle

        - Also worth seeing is the porous rock "limestone tuff" that you can observe/look at here at the waterfall

Note: Moss tuff pads grow very slowly and the delicate structures are very vulnerable, i.e. if they are destroyed, they have to regenerate over a long period of time!
Therefore please do not enter the area of the waterfall!!!
