The Hochfeiler (Italian: Gran Pilastro) is 3510 m above sea level. A. the highest mountain in the Zillertal Alps, a mountain group of the Eastern Alps. Its summit lies exactly on the main ridge of this mountain group and marks a point in the course of the state border between the Austrian state of Tyrol and the Italian province of South Tyrol.

The summit cross is new. Set up just a day before my tour, so I have the first actual photos here. ☺

At 3510m, the Hochfeiler is the highest in the Zillertal and a technically easy hiking mountain, which can now be walked to the summit in summer without any contact with snow. However, one should not underestimate the height and length of the tour.
