Fichtelberg

The Fichtelberg feels almost alpine. It's definitely different than the other mountains in the Ezrgebirge that I've met so far. I came up the street and planned the way down the toboggan run. Then I stood in front of the toboggan run and did not dare to ride (with the road bike) because I did not know when the lawn would turn into asphalt. I think it's not so far and you can risk it.

This is a really good climb to warm up on and is relatively short after turning off from the main road. The surface is good and the views from the top are stunning.
