There is history to experience in the medieval monastery town of Campus Galli near Messkirch. But would you prefer to explore nature? Hiking through the unspoilt landscape with side trips to castles, ruins and rocky outcrops is almost a must here: Wildenstein Castle is located in the middle of the "Upper Danube" nature park. Right in front of the castle gate, winding paths in the wild and romantic Danube Valley lure you. A forest adventure trail offers all kinds of interesting facts. There is space to let off steam on our playground. And the little "knights" can re-enact medieval life on the wooden castle.

The youth hostel Burg Wildenstein is located outside the Leibertingen municipality. It is a 15-minute walk to the town and a 60-minute walk to the Beuron parish.
