The national station Beromünster was a transmitter for medium wave broadcasting in Switzerland from 1931 - 2008. He broadcast the eponymous public service program "Radio Beromünster" and is actually located in the Gunzwil area. The main transmission tower on Blosenberg has been a listed building since 2009. Since 2010, the center for art and culture in the regional station Beromünster (KKLB), an initiative of the artist Werner Zihlmann alias Wetz, has been located in the former company building of the station.

On January 1st, 2009 Gunzwil merged with Beromünster. Since then, the state broadcaster is still in the municipality of Beromünster. In the past, people still believed in Santa Claus, the Christ Child and Radio Beromünster.
