Early morning is the most beautiful at the lake.

The Hullern reservoir is very nice as it is usually not as crowded as the Haltern reservoir. Who wants can take both lakes. A great tour. Always like to drive.

In peace and quiet, the tranquility of the lake to take effect. It's worth it to stay a while. Maybe with a little snack. Tip: do not forget binoculars

Although the Hullern reservoir serves to store drinking water, it is not fenced off like other drinking water dams. It serves exclusively the "silent recovery". If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle a few meters down the river at Stever, this is the place for you. The Talperre holds 11 million cbm and was completed in 1985. Pure nature - and if you're not there on Whit Monday - an idyllic reservoir with a few banks on the bank.
