The natural monument Dießener Tuffrinne is located at the exit towards Oberiflingen about 200m after the
Town sign.

The "Talwegbächle", which once flowed across the meadow over a wide area and made it look swampy, must be completed
300 years ago by human hands into a gutter.
Since then, the side walls of the gutter grow. Due to the evaporation of the creek water, the lime deposits on the
Edges off. The height of the gutter is between 40 cm and 110 cm. It is about 40 meters long.

The total area of the natural monument Dießener Tuffrinne covers 9193 m². In the area of tufa there are over
40 different flowering plants, about 20 grass species, as well as mosses and horsetails. As animals live here dragonflies, snails, spiders, beetles and some water inhabitants such as crayfish and fish.
